The Coalition for Work with Psychotrauma and Peace -
General Information About Studying With the CWWPP Note: Read this section first!
In the context of the development of the Field Institute for Post-Conflict Studies, we have considerably revised the study program.
The Program in Post-Conflict Studies will now start every first Monday of the month.
Details are given below.
People who have taken the courses may stay longer and can make specific arrangements with us to do so (see the detailed Information and Application for CWWPP Study Programs).
We are very much open to visiting professorships and to cooperative research projects. If you are interested in these, please contact us at cwwppsummer@gmail.com
Unfortunately, because of staff time and because of our desire for those studying with us to have a basic introduction to the region, we have eliminated the previous internship and volunteering programs. We warmly welcome serious people who wish to learn from the area, from us and our colleagues, and who are willing to work to do so. Please note that, except where specifically indicated in job advertisements or elsewhere, the CWWPP cannot pay any costs of transportation to and from this region, housing, food or any other costs, although some scholarships may be available with regard to course contributions (but only for these costs) for people from developing and/or post-conflict regions. The CWWPP 2010 Program in Post-Conflict Studies Read this section carefully and completely before proceeding The 2010 CWWPP Program in Post-Conflict Studies is a program that includes a four-week course on post-conflict issues, with a focus on eastern Croatia combined with a four week project period and an optional course in the Croatian language. The Program will start every first Monday of the month. The contribution for the Program is 2500 Euros/3500 US Dollars. See below for further details and an application.
Masters and Doctoral Assistance involves assistance of the student in researching a thesis. We strongly recommend that the student takes the Summer Program before embarking on such a program (and in most cases will require this) in order to become familiar with the region and its problems and with some of the methodological problems of working in this kind of a region. Costs are 600 Euros/865 US Dollars per month plus 150 Euros/225 US Dollars per month for housing.
Minimum age for all programs is 22. There is no maximum age limit.
